Overview
Innovation is the process of making changes to existing processes and practices. In the dairy industry, a need and trend toward increasing farm business size and resulting efficiencies has seen a range of new and emerging processes adopted by farm owners.
In this module, you will explore research emerging from the dairy industry funded Smart Feeding Project and its real world application on farm using the case study of Tocal Dairy.
Throughout the module, you will develop a more in-depth technical understanding of factors influencing cow production, business and feed management. You will also develop your understanding of educational design practice and learning theory to support in designing engaging learning experiences for your students.
During the course of this module, you will compile your coursework using an e-portfolio. Your e-portfolio will be created using the online platform Padlet. Please ensure you read the instructions below and setup your Padlet prior to commencing the coursework.
In addition, review the module learning outcomes, module calendar and live online session sections below before starting the coursework.
