Welcome to this farm Onboarding & Retaining Staff module.

This module will give you advice and approaches for onboarding and then retaining employees on your farm.

Once you have completed the online material and participated in the workshop you will be able to:

• identify onboarding requirements and articulate retention approaches for a variety of roles on farm

• create an onboarding program using coaching guides

• apply the 90-day onboarding journey review document to inform employment decisions.

• identify individual needs and motivators of employees

Throughout the module there are a number of videos to view and activities to complete. Bring your notes with you to the workshop to discuss with other participants.
