After you have completed insemination on a cow/s there are still further tasks to complete to ensure the process was successful and to get you ready for the next round of inseminations. You should keep an eye on all animals after insemination and make sure they have access to food and water. You also need to pregnancy test animals to determine if your AI has been successful. You should try to meet industry conception targets, but to work out if you have met these targets you need to keep detailed data and compare it with historical data. Finally, you need to maintain and service all AI equipment so that it is ready for future use.
