Overview
While water has always been a variable resource, climate and environmental changes impact are increasing the variability by changing rainfall patterns and increasing extreme weather events including both drought and floods. As a result, dairy operations need to consider on-farm water security and water use efficiency for their future viability.

The objectives of this module are to:
analyse the use, availability, and quality of water on the dairy farm
analyse the key water management issues faced by the dairy industry, and
find the effects of current water use practices of the dairy industry on the sustainability of water resources.
