The DairySTART program consists of ten days of learning activities which are delivered over an eight week period. Students are required to attend five days of extension training in total that is delivered by Dairy NSW in their local region and a consecutive five day training block held at Tocal College in the Hunter Valley. The timing of the program is designed to work around on farm work commitments as it will require participants to be released from some workplace activities for the purpose of participating in the program activities.
