Welcome to Getting the Most Out Of Your Accounting Program. 

Dairy Australia has produced several videos demonstrating Xero and MYOB accounting programs. At the end of the module, after watching these videos you should be able to:

• Make efficient use of your accounting software.

• Reduce the amount of time needed and keep more accurate records by using the software.

• Meet all requirements for payroll, ATO and GST legal requirements.

• Understand and identify coding costs that align with the Dairy Standard Chart of Accounts.

This is by no means a full accounting program user guide, rather some tips and tricks to enable you to get the most out of your accounting program for your dairy business. If you are familiar with one of these applications, it is recommended that you watch the videos created using that application. If you are unfamiliar with either application, choose one and watch all the videos created using that application. 
If you are familiar with either of these applications, we recommend that you have the application open and follow along with each of these videos and enter the information in your application as it appears on the screen. If you are familiar with the applications you do not need to watch all of these videos, just the ones that contain information you are unfamiliar with.
