We dont face any special barrier regarding importing dairy products from Australia, the only thing is that importing procedure for dairy product in general is just longer than other products at sometime we have to wait for the Veterinary office to take samples for testing and it takes around 3 days to get the results before we can release the cargo.

Have you experienced any barriers at the port of entry when importing dairy products from Australia?
We do not face any barriers regarding the import of dairy products from Australia, due to intensive communication and good support from the suppliers for all documents issues related to product release from the port.
Barriers usually arise for product samples sent by air freight related to the time to process the documents, for example certificate of analysis and free Heavy metal test from third party laboratory related to health certificates and other documents , whereas storage in airport warehouses is not appropriate.
For shipments by sea freight there is no issue.

We did not experience any problem importing dairy products from Australia given the clear specifications with our suppliers. The problem we encounter during distribution is more on the shipping itself. We often face longer leadtimes due to delay in the transhipnent port.
