This course provides training for on-farm advisory personnel to investigate a range of common milk quality issues on Australian dairy farms and develop an appropriate approach to optimising milk quality.

The program runs over eight months. There are three modules, and each module consists of:

  • 12 to 18 hours of tasks and self-directed learning that has to be completed over 4 to 5 weeks.
  • A two-day peer learning workshop that will comprise of a series of facilitated practical and planned group discussions. There will be significant diversity in knowledge between the different participants, and it is anticipated that we will all learn from each other.
  • 12 to 18 hours of assignments after the peer learning workshop that will allow you to reinforce your learning from the Peer Learning Workshops.
