Supports farmers and employees with the basics of ruminant nutrition. Participants will learn via 2–3 classroom days and an optional on-farm session about feed quality, how cows digest feed nutrients, and comparing and budgeting feed costs.

Supports farmers and service providers to improve herd nutrition practices. Participants will gain technical knowledge, strategic planning and problem-solving skills, and access tools to implement nutrition management strategies.

Mode: 8 days in-person workshops and online learning

Supports farmers to achieve a profitable balance between homegrown feed and supplement use. Participants will learn via 2 classroom days and 5 on-farm sessions, focusing on ryegrass and adapted for regions with other common grazed forages.

Mode: 12 months in-person workshops

Supports farmers and service providers to improve silage-making (focus on pasture/maize). Participants will learn the science/economics of crop selection, silage additives, feed testing, fitting silage and reducing losses during the process.
